Dr. Phil McGraw is famous for helping those in distress, those needing help managing their money or even those needing fidelity advice.
But when it comes to a flooded basement, it was Dr. Phil – or, more specifically, his camera crew, that needed help.
A crew from the Dr. Phil show was in Denver to shoot a segment at a local woman’s house. The night before the taping, the woman’s water heater broke and flooded her basement. An already stressful situation became almost untenable.
So without hesitation Dr. Phil’s crew called in the experts at Disaster Restoration, Inc.
“Dr. Phil called us up and asked if we could help out,” a spokesperson for DRI said. “We were happy to do it.”
DRI’s staff responded, cleaned up the basement and even helped the woman find a company to replace her water heater. The taping of the segment went on as scheduled.
“After this incident, we might change our company slogan to, ‘If we’re good enough for Dr. Phil, we’re good enough for you,” the company spokesperson joked.
The Denver segment of the Dr. Phil show will air in December.
