Restoration Logistics Fire Service Scholarship
Are you a child or grandchild of an active fire service member in the State of Colorado? Apply for the Restoration Logistics Fire Service College Scholarship, The deadline to submit a pre-app is March 15, 2013.
The fire services’ dedication to our Colorado communities has in large part gone unrewarded. Restoration Logistics has first hand experience with this commitment and would like to recognize those vast efforts. To that end Restoration Logistics has created a scholarship that is open to any child or grandchild of an active Colorado firefighter or support personnel that is a senior in high school or a first year college student. The scholarship was founded in 2004 with the goal of providing scholarships for higher education to outstanding children and grandchildren of Colorado’s active fire service personnel. This scholarship is intended to reward students for exceptional achievement, above and beyond their peers.

Shelby Lynn Lowder
Shelby was awarded the $5,000 Restoration Logistics Fire Service Scholarship in June 2011. Shelby is the daughter of Volunteer Firefighter Sheldon Lowder of the Monte Vista Fire Department. Shelby is studying nursing at Utah State University.

|Ms. Cassandra Berndt
Cassandra is the recipient of the 2010 $5,000 Fire Service Scholarship Award. Cassandra is the daughter of Gary Berndt of Pueblo Fire Department and is completing her pre-med studies at Colorado University at Colorado Springs.

Nicole Long, daughter of Poudre Fire Authority Driver/Operator Gary Long and Ft.Collins Police Officer Susan Long was awarded the $5,000 Colorado Fire Service Scholarship. Nicole will be attending Boston University where she will be studying archeology. Congratulations Nicole!

Dustin Parrot, son of Lieutenant Dennis Parrott of the West Routt Fire District, was awarded $7,500. Dustin has been accepted at the University of Wyoming in Laramie where he plans to major in Civil Engineering. Best wishes Dustin!
Ms. Kallie Royal
Kallie Royal, daughter of Battalion Chief Randy Royal of the Colorado Springs Fire Department, was awarded $5,000. Kallie is attending Colorado Christian University where she is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Young Life Leadership. Best wishes Kallie!
Ms. Whitney Means
Whitney Means, daughter of fire investigator Jerry Means of The Colorado Bureau of Investigations, was awarded $7,500.
Whitney plans to attend Metropolitan State College of Denver where she will major in Secondary Education. Best wishes Whitney!

Claire Landkamer, daughter of Captain Jon Landkamer of the Estes Park Volunteer Fire Department, was awarded $7,500. The Estes Park High School Senior plans to pursue a degree in Architecture at California Polytechnic State University. Best wishes Claire!

Kari Hilmes, daughter of Lieutenant Kevin Hilmes of the Union Colony Fire Rescue Authority, was awarded $5,000. The Northridge High School senior plans to pursue a degree in Journalism at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. Best wishes Kari!

Nicole Speake, daughter of firefighter Randy Speake of Rattlesnake Fire Protection District, was also awarded $5,000.
The Elizabeth High School senior plans to study Technical Journalism at Colorado State University. Best wishes Nicole!

Skyler Fritz, daughter of firefighter Patrick Espinoza of the Arvada Fire Protection district, was awarded $2,500. The Legacy High School senior plans to study Mass Communications & Advertising at Mesa State College in Grand Junction. Best wishes Skyler!
Congratulations scholarship recipients from 2005 and 2006!
Allison Voss was awarded her scholarship on Wednesday, July 27, 2006 at the Arvada City Council Chambers. She is majoring in pre-med at CSU.
Presentation of Ashley Bruce’s scholarship took place on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at the North Metro Headquarters. She will be attending CSU, majoring in Journalism.
Cristina Foos was awarded her scholarship on Friday, August 4, 2006 at the Aurora Fire Department Station #10. She will be majoring in Apparel/Merchandising with a minor in Business at CSU.
Awarding of Dawnielle Grosshans’ scholarship took place at the Aurora Fire Department Station #4 on Thursday, August 10. She will be entering her junior year at CSU, working toward a degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences.
Katherine Campbell, daughter of James and Sue Campbell, was the recipient of the 2005 Colorado Fire Service Scholarship for $10,000. James Campbell is an engineer for the Aurora Fire Department. After excelling in her four years at Clear Creek High School in Evergreen, Katherine is now attending Northern Arizona University, majoring in Nursing.
